Pre-screening is not enrollment. Match results are estimates. Only the study team can decide whether you qualify, after their own screening and your informed consent.
Who may see your information. When you ask to be referred or apply, your answers and contact details may be shared with principal investigators, study sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs) and site management organizations (SMOs), such as Emvera Health, for the purpose of contacting and screening you.
How we protect it. We handle your health information with safeguards modeled on HIPAA. Once a research site, sponsor or other covered entity receives it, their own HIPAA privacy practices and the study's consent form apply.
Your choices. Sharing is voluntary. You can decline any study, delete saved match history in your portal, or ask us to remove your information at any time.
About trials. Investigational treatments may not work and can have risks or side effects. Some studies use a placebo. Payment amounts are set by each study and may be taxable.
